Move-In Process for New Students
First-year students will move into one of the following halls: Scholars House, Aikens Hall, Reed Hall, Smith Hall or Hassinger Hall. Transfer students will be assigned housing based on class year. Move-in follows a staggered schedule (see above).
Upon arrival, vehicles will enter the Move-In Line, where Campus Safety and orientation staff will provide instructions. Students will receive residence hall and orientation materials at Drive-Through Check-In before proceeding to their hall for unloading.
Orientation Leaders and volunteers will assist students and families with move-in from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. After this time, students and families will move in their items on their own. Once unloaded, vehicles will be directed to designated parking, with golf cart shuttles available for returning to residence halls.

Drivers must remain with their vehicles and follow directions from Campus Safety and University staff.
After unloading, vehicles will be directed to designated parking areas. Students are encouraged to have someone else drive so they can head to their residence hall while their belongings are unloaded.
