Pre-Flight Programs
Get Involved Early & Make New Connections
Pre-Flight Programs help you get involved, meet like-minded peers and settle into campus before Take Flight Orientation begins on Thursday. You’ll move into your fall residence hall early.
Fall 2025 Move-In for new students registered in the Pre-Flight Program is Sunday, Aug. 17. See the most up-to-date information on myNest under the Move-In and Take Flight Orientation tiles.
Each program has its own schedule each day. Evening programs and events are open for all participants to connect and relax at the end of each day. Sample schedules can be found below under each program.
New fall student-athletes who may arrive early to campus will be invited to attend evening programming as their schedule allows.
Pre-FLight Program
EligibilIty
All incoming Susquehanna University students — residential and commuter — are invited to register for a Pre-Flight program starting in the fall. Participation is free of charge. Some programs have specific eligibility requirements. Please review individual program details and contact the listed coordinators with any questions.
Please note: If you commit to a program but do not attend, you may be responsible for costs incurred on your behalf.

PRe-Flight Program
Program Registration
Students will rank their program preferences during registration. While first choices aren’t guaranteed, we aim to place each student in one of their top three options, based on availability and eligibility.
If a program fills before the deadline, registration will shift to a waitlist. Early registration does not guarantee placement, especially for programs with specific eligibility requirements.
Registration closes on July 7.
All students who register for a Pre-Flight Program will be contacted via their Susquehanna University email by July 18. Program leaders will reach out with details and next steps.
If a student is placed on a waitlist, they will also receive communication with more information about their status and any updates.
